ABOUT US

 

Save Our Paws was founded in April 2011 as a place to get the most up-to-date information about declawing cats.  We also provide information about the short-term and long-term effects of declaw surgery, also known as onychectomy.

 

Save Our Paws has chosen the color lavender to honor of the memory of a dearly beloved friend. 
We miss you, Lavender, the Fuzzy House Lion!

Save Our Paws ' main purpose is to eradicate declawing worldwide. 

Save Our Paws also promotes spaying and neutering for the prevention of unwanted animals.

Save Our Paws would gladly accept your donations; however, your local area shelters and foster care pet homes need the donations more than we do.

Save Our Paws recommends that you do not send donations to the national animal shelters.  There has been much controversy surrounding these organizations:

·         How well they treat the rescued animals

·         Where they spend your donations

·         Their true political agendas

Please give all monies, products, and services directly to your local animal shelters and foster care pet homes.  The life you save may belong to your best friend!
